Mattress & pillow
Airweave
Dr. Horii: Patients always ask me which mattress and pillow to get. I have slept on Airweave myself for years.
Pillows and other accessories are final sale under Airweave's return policy.
EnWell Chiropractic & Acupuncture
Patients often ask me which mattress and pillow I recommend. I also suggest tools for home care, like foam rollers and braces. Here is what I recommend in the clinic.
This page lists products Dr. Horii recommends in the clinic. Some items are also sold at our office. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

I recommend a knee pillow to patients who sleep on their side or have hip or low back problems. The three below differ only in price.

I recommend a foam roller to patients with poor posture, stiff shoulders, neck or back pain, hip or knee pain, or low back pain. Choose a 36-inch roller with medium firmness. I don't recommend extra-firm rollers.

I recommend these to patients working on their posture, patients who sit for long hours, and patients who want to build core strength. Sit on the ball in place of your chair.
With ring base
Dr. Horii: It has a ring base that keeps the ball from rolling.
Choose the set that includes the base.

I recommend a massage gun to many patients: people who play sports, people who lift weights, and people with stiff shoulders. I use one every day for my own care. There's no big difference between these two. The more expensive one is better made and may last longer, but whichever you choose, I'd like you to have one and use it. I explain how to use it, and where not to use it, at your visit.

I recommend a massage ball to most of my patients, especially people who sit for long hours, people with low back pain, and people with desk jobs. There is no difference in how you use these two: one is sold as a single ball and one comes as a 2-pack.

I recommend tape to patients who play sports. I teach how to apply it during treatment, so I don't explain it here. I don't want you to hurt yourself by applying it a different way.

Eye mask
Dr. Horii: I use this every night when I go to bed. My eyes tire easily now that I'm farsighted with age, so this is how I take care of them.
